Abstract
The purpose of this research was to analyze sport nationalism from a historical and structural perspective. It is not difficult to understand ideological manipulations which work to affect the national concern for and excitement of international sporting events. The discussion of it's merits and demerits has been long and frequent. However, the results of such analysis are limited if the research conducted is limited to research of a sociological nature only. To reveal the political intentions of sport nationalism more clearly, the question of when and why the close relationship between sport and nationalism was initially formed should precede the study of current situation. For this reason, this paper concentrates on how nation-states unite their people through sport, and what discourse is used to create this unification. The national monopoly of sports and competition for the athleticism between nation-states promoted the birth of the modern Olympic Games. Most of the international sport events introduced after the Olympics are also based on competition of the superiority of nations' athletes. Through these considerations, it was clarified how sports function as powerful cultural texts in every nation.

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to test gender invariance in the relations of perceived competence and fear of failure with approach-avoidance goals and self-handicapping strategies during task-related activities in middle school physical education context. 599 students (303 boys, 296 girls) responded to a selt of questionnaire measuring perceived competence, fear of failure, 2×2 achievement goals, and self-handicapping strategy in physical education classes. Multi-group analysis using structural equation modeling was conducted to compare the difference of latent mean and factorial invariance across gender. The results of latent mean analysis across gender showed that boys were higher in perceived competence, fear of failure, mastery-approach and performance-avoidance goals than girls, whereas there was no difference in performance-approach, mastery-avoidance goals, and self-handicapping strategy between boys and girls. The results of multi-group analysis across gender indicated that in case of girls fear of failure had not only a direct effect on mastery- and performance-avoidance goals, but a indirect effect on self- handicapping strategy via both avoidance motivation variables. To boys fear of failure directly influenced to self-handicapping, which in turn partially impacted on it by mediating mastery- avoidance goal.

Developing the Golf Clubs Service Quality Scale: Testing Cross, Convergent, and Discriminant Validity 골프장 서비스 품질 척도 개발 및 타당도 검증
The main purpose of the present study is to develop a measure of golf club service quality scale by identifying underlying factors and testing external validities of the scale. The authors tested the scale with two groups: 538 private golf club members and 473 public golf club members. Through a series of confirmatory factor analyses, the present study confirmed that the golf club service quality scale produced reliable and consistent factorial structures across the independent samples. The results supported the convergent validity of the scale: golf club service quality showed significant correlations with customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The results also supported the discriminant validity, in that the golf club service quality scale did not redundantly measure any of the individual difference constructs and was statistically distinguishable from the closely correlated constructs. The results of the present study suggest that management of golf clubs should understand their service quality to effectively allocate its financial and human resources for satisfying golfers.

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to examine the relationships between dance ability beliefs and perfectionism orientation among university students major in dance. For this, 388 male and female university students(36 males, 352 females) participated in the study. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of regression analysis indicated that improvement in incremental beliefs and talent in entity beliefs predicted dance students' striving for perfectionism, whereas both talent and stable in entity beliefs were variable predicting students' negative reaction against imperfection. Therefore, the results of the study suggest that students who believe their dance ability enhanced by their effort were high in the level of striving for perfectionism, but students who believe their dance ability as stable and talent can be reacted more negatively against their imperfection.

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate whether exercise training affected basal nitric oxide (NO) production and whether other confounding factors were associated with changes in basal NO production. Fifty two healthy sedentary subjects (aged 50-70 yrs, men=27, women=25) completed 6 months of exercise training at 70% of VO2max, 40 min/d, 3 d/wk. NO production was determined as the measure of plasma NO metabolites (NOx) using a modified Griess assay. At baseline, there were significant inverse correlations between basal plasma NOx levels and total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels (r=-0.313, p=.016 and r= -0.307, p=.019, respectively). Fasting plasma glucose, insulin, triglyceride (TG), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels were not correlated with basal plasma NOx levels at baseline. After exercise training, VO2max and HDL-C were significantly increased, and body weight, body mass index (BMI), percent body fat, TG, and fasting plasma insulin levels were significantly reduced (p<.05). Plasma NOx levels were not changed with exercise training, but significantly reduced from 20.1±0.7 µmol/L to 19.4±0.7 µmol/L (p=.002) after statistical adjustment for baseline TC and LDL-C. The present results indicate that exercise training may not change NO production, but when TC and LDL-C levels are accounted for, exercise training may decrease NO production.

Effects of Chocolate Milk Ingestion After Strenuous Exercise on Fatigue Recovery 탈진적인 운동 후 초코우유섭취가 피로회복에 미치는 영향
We investigated the effect of chocolate milk (CM) ingestion after the strenuous Wingate exercise on fatigue recovery for 2-h. For this, six healthy male adolescents were subjected to the experiment. They were performed 3-times repeated Wingate exercise to induce fatigue and then they ingested water, CM, and sports drink (SP) after 15 min of the exercise. Blood was obtained at the pre-, post-exercise, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes, respectively and blood metabolites were analyzed. When recovery over 120 minutes, the 4th Wingate exercise was tested for calculating Wingate power recovery ratio at the 1st:4th of the test. Breathing frequency, oxygen saturation, and heart rate were also measured, however, did not showed significant changes. Wingate power recovery ratio of peak power per body weight and total works was significantly higher in CM and SP than water (p<.05). Blood metabolites did not show the significance among groups. These results suggested that chocolate milk ingestion after strenuous exercise facilitates fatigue recovery.
